Wabash Valley Power Alliance’s Board of Directors announced that Jeff Conrad will become the generation and transmission cooperative’s next President and Chief Executive Officer. Conrad currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of WVPA and has served in leadership roles since joining WVPA in 1999.
Retired contractor Don Acheson was planning to build his new house when the COVID-19 pandemic’s economic impact sent lumber prices skyrocketing and led to workforce shortages.
To make his planned home a reality, Acheson turned to some old friends – and his new electric cooperative.
WVPA has for the last several years sponsored the Indiana FFA, which has benefited more than 12,500 members with unique educational opportunities and leadership development.
