WVPA has for the last several years sponsored the Indiana FFA, which has benefited more than 12,500 members with unique educational opportunities and leadership development.
A northern Indiana business park needed an extended road and utilities to reach the last undeveloped section, which also was the best land in the area prime for development. To energize their plans, the business park owners teamed with their local electric cooperative and its power provider.
The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association highlighted the Power Moves program, which has saved 300 million kilowatt-hours in electricity and $66 million in avoided costs.
