Ready Power, No Matter Which Way The Wind Blows.

Wabash Valley Power is proof of strength in diversity. See how our singular approach to multiple generation sources is the future of electric power.

How can an electric company stay competitive and reliable in the face of rapid change, increasing demand, and an uncertain regulatory future? At Wabash Valley Power, we’ve found our answer in diversity—the diversity of our power generation portfolio. We employ a unique combination of power-generating sources, including a growing number of renewable energy sources* (and more to come), combined with our expertise in buying electricity on the wholesale power market. The result is greater rate predictability over a longer period of time—and the ability to thrive no matter where the future takes us.

Our Diverse Power Supply

Power Supply Map

MULTIPLE SOURCES BY DESIGN.

Wabash Valley Power owns 26 power plants that generate more than 1,093 megawatts of electricity. We also purchase wind, nuclear, and hydroelectricity and have added solar generation to the mix.

*Wabash Valley Power supports renewable energy by owning landfill gas and solar generation and purchasing the output from wind, solar and biogas facilities. Wabash Valley Power sells, separately, the environmental attributes associated with this generation to third parties, and therefore does not claim the generation as renewable within our own supply portfolio.
